A pioneer of the Finger Lakes wine region, Knapp Winery has been producing award-winning wines along the shores of Cayuga Lake since 1984. As the first winery in the region to plant and vinify Cabernet Franc, Knapp continues to innovate, producing award-winning wines like Blaüfrankisch, Saperavi, and Rieslings. The winery is also unique for growing Siegerrebe, a rare Austrian variety. Visitors can enjoy tastings and wines by the glass or dine at Field & Vine, our onsite farm-inspired restaurant open seasonally, showcasing what the Finger Lakes has to offer. Knapp Winery has been revitalized under new ownership by Cole and Karen Wilson since December 2021. The Wilsons, longtime visitors of the winery, are building Knapp’s legacy into the future.
