Rooted in Legacy, Powered by Women

Kevin San Jose recently wrote for Explore Finger Lakes about an exciting wave of women winemakers crafting wines layered with creativity and finesse. As the Finger Lakes marks 200 years of winemaking, a bold new chapter is being written by the region’s women winemakers such as Julia Hoyle of Apollo’s Praise and Hosmer Winery, Lynne Fahy of Hillock & Hobbs Estate, and Nova Cadamatre MW of Trestle Thirty One—visionaries blending tradition with innovation to create terroir with tenacity.

“I like to focus on the ultimate quality goal of making great wines so hopefully there are a majority of other wineries who want to walk down that road with me… Wines are a winemaker’s immortality in a bottle. I want to make sure I’m making wines that will outlive me.” says Nova Cadamatre MW.
