Geneva, NY – January 14, 2025 — The Finger Lakes Wine Alliance, a leading voice for promoting the Finger Lakes as North America’s premier cool-climate winegrowing region, is excited to usher in a dynamic year of growth and innovation with its 37 Levy Contributor wineries.
With a strong foundation built on its Strategic Plan, the organization is setting the stage for continued success in 2025 by focusing on key performance metrics: strengthening trade and media connections, enhancing member satisfaction and engagement, and expanding market presence for Finger Lakes wines. This year, Executive Director Kyle Anne Pallischeck, now entering her fifth year of leadership, is joined by the newly appointed Marketing Coordinator, Jonas Raider, whose fresh perspective and expertise will help propel the Alliance’s initiatives forward.
Highlights for 2025 include the much-anticipated return of Riesling Camp for its 9th year in late May, a signature event showcasing the region’s renowned Rieslings. New in 2025, the Vintage Report and Release Party celebrates a collaborative effort where member wineries work together to define the identity of the 2024 vintage. This comprehensive report is crafted in a setting that fosters dialogue among winemaking and vineyard teams. The celebration of the report’s release will take place in April, featuring a daytime trade and media tasting followed by an evening consumer event—an exciting sneak peak at the latest vintage.
Educational workshops focusing on marketing strategies, wholesale distribution, hospitality excellence, and advanced wine studies will continue to provide invaluable support to members.
Guiding the organization’s vision this year is a dedicated Executive Committee, featuring Meaghan Frank (Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery) as Chair, Jordan Harris (Heron Hill Winery) as Vice Chair, Nova Cadamatre MW (Trestle Thirty One) as Secretary, Shannon Brock (Silver Thread Vineyard) as Past Chair, and Amanda Fitzgerald (Goose Watch Winery) returns as Treasurer. Their collective expertise and commitment will drive the Alliance’s mission to elevate the Finger Lakes wine region to new heights.
“2025 represents a pivotal moment for the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance,” said Meaghan Frank, Chair of the Executive Committee. “We are building on past successes while embracing new opportunities to showcase the incredible quality and diversity of Finger Lakes wines. With fresh initiatives and an engaged membership, we are poised to achieve even greater visibility and impact.”
