Goose Watch Winery, located on the western shores of Cayuga Lake, specializes in producing premium wines uncommon to the Finger Lakes region, with a selection unlike anywhere else. We often refer to our wine list as “taking the path less travelled,” as we specialize in a selection of wines that are not the typical of the Finger Lakes region.
Our exciting wines are produced from classic European grape varieties such as Pinot Grigio, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon as well as unique and lesser-known European varietals such as Viognier, Lemberger, and Zweigelt. Our winemakers continue to produce innovative new wines that will open your palate to new experiences. Recent releases include a White Pinot Noir, Intertwined (a Merlot Viognier conferment), and varietal Pet-Nats made from Viognier and Aromella. With Cornell University just down the lake from us, we also produce wines from some of their newly developed grape varieties such as Melody, Aromella, Noiret, and our Dry Traminette.
Goose Watch Winery’s relaxed atmosphere comes from its beautiful grounds and comfortable tasting room with a deck that overlooks Cayuga Lake. Here you can savor a tasting flight, glass, or bottle of wine while you admire one of the best views of the lake.
