On Monday, October 16th, Fox Run Vineyards celebrated a monumental moment for themselves and the Finger Lakes Region during a ribbon-cutting celebration for their new winemaking facility.
Fox Run Vineyards has been one of the best winery destinations in the Finger Lakes for years and recently had the opportunity to expand its own winemaking capacity as well as custom winemaking capacity for others within the Finger Lakes. The new facility marks the winery’s continued commitment to investing in the Finger Lakes region and continued support to elevate themselves and others throughout the area.
The new facility, sitting atop Fox Run’s property, is 9,000 square feet inside and 10,500 square feet in total. All together Fox Run invested $1.5 million to make the project happen. With help from Sugar Creek Construction, Lyons National Bank, Marks Engineering, Martin’s Electrical and Plumbing, and TLM construction, the vision became a beautiful reality. The new space now offers over 50% more space for the winemaking team and anticipates adding a full-time employee to the Fox Run roster in the near future.
Through constant support from others within the community, this new facility has already and will continue to help the area grow and prosper. “I want to congratulate Fox Run on their new winemaking facility in Yates County which is a significant addition for our region’s wine industry, creating new local job opportunities and bolstering the wine industry as a whole. This investment enhances Fox Run’s own manufacturing capacity and their ability to assist other wineries with custom winemaking services. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Fox Run for their enduring leadership in the wine industry, which has consistently contributed to our region’s prosperity.” said Steve Griffin, Chief Executive Office of the Finger Lakes EDC of Yates County.
“LNB is proud to continue our long-time banking partnership with Fox Run Vineyards and we are thankful for the opportunity to be involved in this project alongside many talented local businesses. The project will not only help Fox Run reach new heights, but will positively impact the local economy and the FL wine industry as a whole. Thank you to Scott, Ruth and the entire team for your industry leadership and this significant investment in the future of Fox Run.” said Ryan Hallings, Senior Vice President of Lyons National Bank.
